The Printing Plate

The printing plates for "Aunt Maggie and Friend I and II".

Above is an example of the printing plate.  I hand stitch an image on the fabric and use it to make a permanent ink image on a paper substrate.  You might be wondering why there a black dots at the top of each image.  To hang these on the wall in the gallery, I used strong magnets.  They are large images on paper, and this helped me display them without framing them.
