Hello Heidi,
No, I never made the shower curtain. I ended up using the fabric that I had set aside for this in the skirt that I made last December. Here is the post about it: (http://annakeck.wordpress.com/2007/12/09/a-weekend-of-sewing/)
As far as the “how to” question. I don’t really like to go into too much detail of how I make my work, but basically, I am using my stitchings as the tool. I am laying the tool over a substrate and painting on them with wet color (inks, etc.) , and the finished image is the substrate.
